Luke Campbell exclusively tells HELLO! about his McBusted wedding surprise

Olympic boxing champ Luke Campbell had a knockout surprise for his wife on their wedding day – he arranged for chart toppers McBusted to play a surprise set!

Luke, who won gold at London 2012, organized for the six strong band to play in a marquee in his bride Lynsey’s parents’ back garden.

They performed a special 45 minute set of seven of their favourite songs. "It was such hard work, just to keep it secret," said Luke, 28, who is friends with McBusted member Danny Jones and his wife Georgie. "Lynsey was blown away by it."

Lynsey, also 28, and a model, added: "It was such an hounour, and an unbelievable night. I was on such a high."

The couple – who have two young children - took their vows in a pavilion next to Princess Castle at Disneyland, Florida, making it a real fairytale after a nine year relationship.

Hardman Luke, who has now turned pro, admitted he cried when he saw his bride walking up the aisle, adding: "but then I manned up. I saw a couple of people laughing at me out of the corner of my eye and pulled myself together."

Then it was back home to Hull for a wedding party for 160 guests – including Luke’s boxing friend and new Strictly Come Dancing contestant Anthony Ogogo. And of course the surprise set by McBusted…
